Joanne Lee Coaching is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We collect information about individuals (“Data”) when they use our website and services. This privacy policy describes how we collect, use and disclose Data.

Please note that the Privacy Policy “Policy” relates only to living individuals and personal data relating directly to themselves, and not to persons in any other capacity. It covers how Joanne Lee Coaching uses information gathered from you when you use our website, contact us, or register interest in our services.

What information do we collect and how do we collect it

Joanne Lee Coaching is a Controller of the personal data you the Customer (data subject) provide us.

We collect the following types of personal and non-personal data from you:

  • Personal Data: Name, Telephone Number and Email. We may also retain records of your queries and correspondence in the event you contact us e.g. by email.

  • Non-Personal Data: Browser types and cookies

You have full control over whether you provide this. It is only collected when you contact us through the form on our website.

If you provide us with personal data about a third-party (e.g. one of your customers), you warrant that you have obtained their express consent for the disclosure and use of their personal data.

Why do we need that data?

In general, we use the information we collect about you to:

  • To provide you with information about products or services that you request from us

  • Improve the services we offer

  • To provide technical support and customer care

  • To communicate with you and consenting subjects regarding our services

  • To facilitate access for users on our website (including your customers)

Security and where we store your personal data

When potential clients contact us, they may forward their name, phone number and email. We will take this as an indication of interest in our services and will confirm our reasons for receiving this information.

Pre-Coaching Questionnaires and Coaching Forms may be used to assist in the preparation for coaching sessions. Post-session notes may be taken for the coach’s own evaluation and progress. Information in these notes is anonymised to protect the privacy of the individual.

These documents, which help to provide a quality service, are deleted and hard copies securely destroyed when the client engagement concludes.

You have the right to erase/delete data relating to you at any stage, as set out in the ‘Your Rights’ section below.

Your personal data is controlled in our office in Dublin, Ireland. Hosting and storage of your data is managed by our hosting provider – Hosting Ireland – and takes place in BT Citywest Datacentre in Dublin, Ireland. The security of your data is important to us and we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it.

How we share that data

Your data (including your customers’ data) will not be transferred to any third-party unless this is required for one of the following reasons:

  • To fulfil the service ordered and meet our obligations (for example to deal with your website hosting or domain provider)

  • Irish law enforcement request, court order or statutory requirement

  • Merger, acquisition of company or sale of company assets

Any such third-party will have similar appropriate data protection policies.

We do not and never shall sell your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

How Long Do We Keep It?

We will keep your personal data as long as is required to fulfil our obligations to you. After we have fulfilled our obligations, under Irish law, we are required to keep your documents for a further 6 years. After this period, your personal data will be irreversibly destroyed. Any personal data held by us for marketing and service update notifications will be kept by us until such time that you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

What Are Your Rights?

Under GDPR regulations should you believe that any personal data we hold on you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the ability to make reasonable requests to see this information, rectify it or have it deleted. Please contact us and request a Data Subject Access Request Form.

In the event that you wish to complain about how we have handled your personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer at joanne@joanneleecoaching.com or in writing at Joanne Lee Coaching, 6 Mabestown, Back Road, Malahide Co. Dublin. Our Data Protection Officer will then look into your complaint and work with you to resolve the matter.

If you still feel that your personal data has not been handled appropriately according to the law, you can contact the Data Protection Commissioner at www.dataprotection.ie and file a complaint with them.

Collection and use of non-personal, statistical data

We do not collect any personal details on the https://www. Joanneleecoaching.com website.

The statistical and analytical information provides only general information about the number of people who visit https://www.joanneleecoaching.com,  the number of people who return to this site, the pages that they visit, where they were before they came to this site and the page in the site at which they exited.

This information helps us monitor traffic on the website so that we can manage the capacity and efficiency for the website. It also helps us to understand which parts of the site are most popular and to assess user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the “Joanne Lee Coaching” website

We reserve the right to change this Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. If we make any changes, we will post those changes here so that you can see what information we gather, how we might use that information and in what circumstances we may disclose it.
